AAP team meets DC, demands justice for MGM rape victim

Jamshedpur, Feb. 6: A delegation of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday met the East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Dr. Amitabh Kaushal and enquired about the measures being taken against the security guard who allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl in MGM Hospital here on January 31.

The delegation also submitted a memorandum to the DC and demanded social security, education expenses, compensation and a government job to the victim when she grows up.

Sumant Choudhary of AAP said, �The incident happened just a kilometre away from deputy commissioner�s office and 2.5 km from the Chief Minister Raghubar Das�s home in the city and still Chief Minister is still silent on the issue.�

He said that his party will continue to fight for the justice of the girl and will soon write to the President of India, Prime Minister and Chief Justice of India demanding justice.

Kashif Raza Siddique, Ashutosh Kumar, Shadab Anwar, Rahul Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
