Jamshedpur: To ensure smooth transfer of pension benefits, the district administration will organize special Aadhar seeding camps for beneficiaries of the Jharkhand Chief Minister Maniya Samman Yojana and Centrally Sponsored Pension Schemes. The initiative is aimed at resolving cases of unsuccessful payments and linking beneficiaries under the NON-DBT category of the state pension scheme.
As per the directions of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, the camps will be held on 26th, 28th and 29th August 2025 at all block office premises, along with zonal offices in Jamshedpur, Mango and Chakulia.
During the camps, banking correspondents will be present to complete the Aadhar seeding process for beneficiaries. The step is expected to streamline the disbursal of pension amounts and eliminate delays caused by payment failures.
The Deputy Commissioner has instructed all Block Development Officers and Anchal Officers to ensure that the camps are conducted smoothly. Panchayat-wise schedules will be drawn up to facilitate maximum participation and reduce inconvenience to senior citizens and other beneficiaries.
Officials said that linking Aadhaar with pension accounts will make the transfer of funds more transparent and efficient, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive their entitlements directly in their bank accounts without interruption.
