Jamshedpur, Dec. 20: Sri Rani Sati Seva Sangh organized its first Sharad Utsav on Sunday at the ram mandir complex in Bistupur.
The one-day religious event which started at 9 am in the morning saw devotees in large number gather at the venue. Women in their traditional attire participated in the mangal paath, henna celebration and sindhara.
Around 1500 women participated in the mangal path and were provided with religious items by the Sangh. During the first part of the program, mehndi of Dadi and Sindhara was organized from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. Mangal path started at 1 pm were singer Ujjwal from Nagpur presented the path.
Artists from Kolaghat in West Bengal decorated the 2400 Sq.ft stage while 16000 sq. ft pandal was built to host the capacity crowd.
At the religious function more than 300 devotees of Dadi form West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Purulia, Jharkhand, Burdwan, Rairangpur, Bahalda, Baripada, Chaibasa, Chakradharpur, Joda, Barbil, Noamundi, Ranchi, Gaya and Sasaram participated.
On the occasion Shanu Kavantia, Kamla Dodrajka, Uma Lodha, Saroj Tulsyan, Manju Kanwtia, Reeta Khandelwal, Modi, Rajkumar Sanghi, Kailash Saraiwala, Suresh Lodha of the organizing committee and others were present.
