6th Pay Scale implemented for teachers and staff at BDSLCT Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Ghatshila

Ghatshila, October 6: The School Management Committee of BDSLCT Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir held a meeting on Sunday at the school premises, chaired by Committee Chairman Satyanarayan Jain. During the meeting, Jain extended warm Durga Puja greetings to all members, teachers, and staff, and provided key directives for the school’s development.

A significant decision was made to revise the existing honorarium for teachers and staff, approving the implementation of the 6th Pay Scale as per the Vidya Vikas Samiti, Jharkhand’s guidelines. Additionally, a 10% dearness allowance was approved, to be given as a festive bonus for Durga Puja. The new salary structure will take effect from October 2024. The finalized report will be submitted to the State Secretary for approval, announced the principal.

Secretary Praveen Kumar Agarwal discussed educational and school development plans, while Co-Secretary Narayan Prasad announced the donation of five computer sets to the school. The meeting also saw the inauguration of a 1000-litre water filter, donated by the Parmanand Deva Devi Trust, led by Ramavtar Agarwal.

Key attendees included Treasurer Dr. Krishnu Verma, Vice President Dharmesh Chauhan, and other committee members, along with representatives from the teaching staff, parents, and the district’s Sangh propagator.
