Jamshedpur, August 11: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West has embarked on an ambitious and compassionate mission to combat anaemia across schools, institutions, and communities — with a special focus on rural and tribal areas. The club aims to conduct over one lakh anaemia tests as part of its ongoing healthcare initiative.
As part of this mission, a health camp was organised today at RMS High School Balichela Sonari under the leadership of Club President Ashok Jha, First Lady Vinita Jha, and Specialist Shradha Rungta.
Total of 89 persons underwent anaemia test of which 49 were found anaemic.

A dedicated team of trained paramedics conducted the tests, and individuals diagnosed with anaemia were provided three months of free medication to aid their recovery.
Speaking on the occasion, Club Secretary Rtn. Naman Agarwal shared the month’s schedule for the anaemia testing camps, reiterating the club’s commitment to reach diverse sections of the community.
