Jamshedpur : In a shocking incident, a 40-year-old woman was found murdered at her residence in Punjabi Colony�at �Tinplate under Golmuri police station area today morning.
Lalita Devi, wife of Rama Shankar Singh is suspected to have been murdered as there was a mark of injury�.
The victim was mother of two children.� The husband and another youth who would also stay at the residence are missing.
The police have recovered the body and sent it to the MGM Medical College mortuary in Dimna�for post-mortem having registered a case of murder against the husband.
Officer-in-charge, Golmuri police station Nehaluddin Khan said this to be a case of murder.� According to the police officer, the couple had come to the Punjabi Colony two months ago and were staying at a rented house.
“As per the statements of the neighbours, we found that the husband was searching for some job and was facing tough time.�
It is not known under which circumstances the woman was killed,” said Khan. Officer-in-charge, Golmuri said that they are investigating the matter and were trying to solve the case
