33rd Shyam Mahotsav in Sakchi Shiv Mandir on Feb 12, Nishan Yatra cancelled temple

Jamshedpur, Feb 3: The 33rd Sri-Sri Shyam Mahotsav will be organized at the Sakchi Shiv Mandir on Saturday of Sri Sri Sakchi Shiv Temple and Sri Shyam family will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12. However, in view of prevailing COVID conditions, the Nishan Yatra, like 2021, has been cancelled.

Preparations for the hosting of 33rd Shyam Mahotsav are on in full swing. The information had been jointly issued on behalf of the organizing committee by President Bablu Agarwal and Umesh Shah on Thursday. The communiqué requested all devotees to follow all COVID-19 protocols as stipulated by the government. They have also been urged to form queues with adequate physical distancing to offer their prayers to the deity. The release informed that the throne of Sri Shyam would be decked up with flower décor, Chhappan Bhog, Akhand Jyot and Kirtan-Bhajans. The entire temple premises would be attractively decorated on the occasion. The bhajans will be presented by famous singer, Acharya Giriraj Sharan from Jaipur and Jamshedpur’s pride, Mahavir Agarwal from 9 pm to late into the night.

The organizing committee to host the 33rd Sri-Sri Shyam Mahotsav includes Subhash Shah, Suresh Agarwal, Naresh Agarwal, Kamlesh Chaudhary, Girdhari Lal Khemka, Pawan Khemka, Mohit Shah, Tushar Jindal, Amit Shah, Ashish Khanna, Naresh Singhania and others.
