Jamshedpur Sept. 2: A Special Shabashi Award function was organized today at the Steelenium Hall, inside the Plant premises, to recognize employees for their exemplary performances. T V Narendran, CEO & MD, Tata Steel graced the occasion as chief guest and felicitated 25 employees belonging to various departments of Tata Steel, India operations. The function was attended by Vice Presidents, Chiefs and Heads of departments, Line Managers & HRM Executives.
The Special Shabashi Award is given to those employees who display consistent and exemplary performance in the fields of Safety, Environment, Quality, Efficiency, Work Discipline, Concern for Fellow Employees & Team Members, Change Initiative and Creativity. The Special Shabashi Award comprises of a Certificate of Recognition and a bonanza Holiday Package (with family) for four days/ three nights at select tourist locations in India.
