Chaibasa, May 23: The result of Intermediate Science was released by the Jharkhand Academic Council on Tuesday. But this time the science result for West Singhbhum district was disappointing.

Compared to last year, this year 17 percent students failed in Intermediate Science. Last year 87.66 percent students passed in science whereas this year only 70.28 percent students were successful. Due to the disappointing results of West Singhbhum, a review is now being planned by the District Education Department.

It was told that most of the students from private schools have become successful. The result of government school students has not been special.

Significantly, similar kind of result happened in West Singhbhum six year back. But there was a lot of improvement in last few years. But again the result of Inter Science has slipped back by 17 percent.

After the result, the teachers said that every year less students are successful in science. But last year’s record in West Singhbhum is a distant thing, not even coming close to last year’s result is a matter of concern.

The education system in government schools has completely failed. The government is not serious on this. Due to which the result of Intermediate Science has not been correct this time. These things were said by Murari Baidh, assistant professor of GC Jain Commerce College.

He said that education is done to some extent in private schools. But due to lack of education in government schools, students are not able to succeed. Children do not get regular guides.
