122 meritorious students honoured at JUSCO School South Park

Jamshedpur, August 7: The XIX annual prize distribution ceremony of the junior school at JUSCO School South Park was held with great enthusiasm, where 122 students were felicitated for their achievements in academics, discipline, and all-round performance.

The event began with a solemn observance of silence to pay homage to former Chief Minister Shibu Soren, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting and welcome shlokas performed by students.

Ashish Kumar Pandey, District Superintendent of Education, East Singhbhum, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and presented trophies to the awardees. In his address, he applauded the school’s nurturing environment and urged parents to recognise the unique potential in every child.

Also present were Jiju Thomas, Senior Manager of JEM Foundation, along with principals and vice principals of JEM Schools.

In her welcome address, Principal Mili Sinha highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic education and the importance of nurturing young talent from the foundational years.

The cultural performances were a major highlight of the ceremony. Students presented a welcome dance, Heal the World, a dance drama titled Sitare Zameen Pe, and a vibrant group performance, Happiness – Rhythm of Joy.

Among the many awards, P. Harshini of Std IV B and Shristi Pathak of Std IV A were declared Overall All-Rounder winners of the Junior School.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the singing of the National Anthem.
