Chakulia, September 24: Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda opined that only when youths do better work then the nation will also develop.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of a 100-bed tribal hostel at Swami Vivekananda ITI at Chakulia in Ghatshila sub-division of East Singhbhum district on Sunday praised the ITI for honing skills of students.
“Students should move towards achieving their goals with creative and positive thinking. Only the village children will create a new India. The institution develops through students and students develop through the institution,”said Munda.
“India is a country of youth. If the youth work better for their family and society, a better nation will be built. Youth are the means of progress of the country. There is abundance of talent even in rural areas. Many young scientists of the village also played an important role in the success of Chandrayaan-3,” said Munda.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi , the Union minister said that the under Modi ji leadership the country is developing with a vision.
“Now village women are also emerging as power. Women are paying taxes to the country by becoming self-reliant,” Munda said.
He called upon to make their village a skill development village and thanks ITI for providing employment opportunities to the youth.

He observed various projects prepared by students.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Varan Mahato said that the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had formed a separate ministry for the development of the people of the tribal community. Ever since Arjun Munda became the minister of this ministry, the people of the tribal community have progressed.
“Around 740 Eklavya schools were opened in the country. The Jharkhand government is not spending the crores of rupees given by the Central Government for the development of the tribal community,” said Mahato.
The MP said that he will provide solar inverter to this ITI from the MP fund.
Former health minister Dr Dinesh Sarangi demanded stoppage of Vande Mataram train at Ghatshila and Chakulia and initiative towards starting Chakulia-Budamura rail line. He also said that there is a possibility of constructing a cargo airport in Chakulia.
ITI CEO Jogendra Singh highlighted the achievements of ITI and said that efforts are on to increase more trades here.
