Jamshedpur, May 3: Jharkhand State Youth Intuc organized a motorcycle rally in the city to mark Labour Day celebrations on Thursday. The rally started from Bistupur and reached CWA Hall in Cable Town via Sakchi. Intuc national secretary Rakeshwar Pandey and state Youth Intuc president Shailesh Pandey jointly led the rally which culminated into a meeting at CWA Hall.
Addressing the gathering, the Intuc secretary said the enthusiasm of Intuc activists and labourers was a good sign about the future of workers. He said youths were the future of the nation and hence they should discharge their social and political duties well.
Shailesh Pandey said the state youth Intuc would release a yearly calendar of its activities. He said the youth wing would soon start uniting unorganized workers. He said outsourcing of work by companies was a major concern and challenge for Youth Intuc.
Among those present during the programme included Ramashraya Prasad, Noorjahan, Shikha Choudhary, Vijay Yadav, Paritosh Singh, Rakesh Sahu, Usha Singh, Meera Tiwary, UK Sharma, Sanjay Jha, Paritosh Singh, Surendra Sharma, Shubham Tiwary, Rahul Rai, Harsh Pandey and Raja Singh.
