Jamshedpur, May 3: The wait of the CBSE Class 12 students was finally over as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results on Thursday morning in record time.
Continuing the tradition, DAV Public School, Bistupur, dominated the proceedings and students from the school stole the show in the city and came out winners as school produced top six students in the science stream.
Toppers from all three streams pure science, bio-science and commerce are from DAV, Bistupur.
Harshit Agarwal and Abhikhya Tripathy scored 97 % to be declared as the joint city toppers in Pure Science. Jyothi Raditya was the second topper with 96.2% marks followed by Chirag Agarwal who scored 96%.
In bio-science again DAV Bistupur students came out with flying colours. Bhruti Uchhwas Sethi topped the exam with 96.6% marks. Atual Pravakar was second with 95.6% marks followed by Jasleen Kaur with 94.4% marks.
In Commerce, Shubra Anand was the topper with 95.8% marks, Naman Kumar Thakur was second with 94.4% and with 93.6% marks Rahul Ranjan was third.
Pragya Singh, principal of DAV Bistupur was pleased with the results as all the students have cleared the exam. �The performance is improving with every passing year and we don�t just see the toppers as all the students have put in hard work.
She further said that several students of the school cleared the JEE Mains and hope the same is repeated when the JEE Advanced results are out.
