Youth injured after falling off train near Jamshedpur

Gamharia, Mar 17: In an unfortunate incident early Sunday morning, a youth from Medinipur, West Bengal, sustained injuries after falling on the Sini Line Outer of Kandra railway station. The incident occurred around 5:00 am when the youth, identified as Rakesh Hait, was traveling aboard the 12949 Kaviguru Express train en route to Medinipur, West Bengal.

The injured youth, displaying remarkable courage, managed to reach the RPF barrack on foot and promptly informed RPF in-charge Asmit Verma about the mishap. Upon receiving the information, Kandra police station was alerted about the incident. RPF in-charge Asmit Verma, along with RPF jawans, swiftly assisted the injured youth and coordinated with Kandra police to ensure his prompt medical attention.

Rakesh Hait, who suffered a head injury, was promptly transported to Gamharia Community Health Center for medical treatment. The railway administration and Kandra police collaborated efficiently to facilitate the swift transfer of the injured youth to the hospital.

Grateful family members of the injured expressed their appreciation for the timely assistance provided by the Railway Police and Kandra Police in managing the unfortunate situation. RPF in-charge Asmit Verma ensured that the family members were informed about the incident, emphasizing the importance of coordination and prompt action in such emergencies.
