Jamshedpur, November 20: An unknown vehicle hit 26-year-old Gokul Lohar, a local resident, who was crossing the road near Marine Drive Bage Basti under Kadma police station on Sunday night.
The collision was so strong that Gokul fell far away from the road. Here, after the incident the vehicle fled away rapidly. Local people immediately took Gokul to MGM Hospital for treatment where Gokul died during treatment.
Giving information, Gokul’s cousin Shankar told that Gokul had gone towards the river at night. He was crossing the road and coming towards the settlement. Then a car going from Adityapur towards Sonari in the wrong direction hit Gokul. By the time people could understand anything, the car had fled from the spot. Gokul was taken to MGM Hospital where he died.
