Youth Congress protests at JNAC office

Jamshedpur: Youth Congress activists staged a demonstration before the office of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee in Sakchi on Friday to demand basic civic amenities at Burmamines Vinoba Ashram. They said the residents of Vinoba Ashram were devoid of basic civic amenities for the last 72 years. There is neither electricity nor water supply in the ashram, said Rakesh Sahu, state Youth Congress secretary.
Sahu demanded that road, drains, solar light and hand-pumps are required among a host of facilities for the residents.
Among others present on the occasion included Surendra Sharma and Baldev Singh.
