Ispat Express rescheduled, several trains cancelled due to development work

Jamshedpur, June 9: Several train services in the Chakradharpur Division of the South Eastern Railway will be regulated and affected due to ongoing developmental works. A Traffic-cum-Power Block is scheduled for the launching of a Reliving Girder at the proposed Normal Height Subway between Asanboni and Govindpur stations.

As a result, 08055/08056 Kharagpur-Tatanagar-Kharagpur MEMU Special will remain cancelled. The 08071/08072 Kharagpur-Tatanagar-Kharagpur Passenger Special will also be cancelled. The 08151/08152 Tatanagar-Barkakana-Tatanagar Passenger Special will not operate.

Furthermore, the 12872 Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express will be rescheduled to depart from Titlagarh at 08:15 hrs instead of the usual 05:15 hrs on June 11, 2023. In addition, the 08173 Asansol-Tatanagar Passenger Special, scheduled for the same day, will be short terminated at Purulia. Similarly, the 08174 Tatanagar-Asansol Passenger Special will have a short origin from Purulia on June 11, 2023.
