Youth Cong conference held

Jamshedpur: A panchayat level party workers� conference cum membership drive was organized in Haldipokhar by the Potka Assembly constituency Youth Congress committee. Tributes were paid to Bhagwan Birsa Munda at the beginning of the event. More than 70 youths from different political parties joined the party. The chief guest of the occasion was the state Congress president Dr Ajoy Kumar. He said the Central and state governments led by the BJP were misguiding the people by making false and tall promises. He said the workers, farmers and poor people were disenchanted with the BJP governments. He appealed to party workers to form panchayat level committees to whip up a mass movement to give a befitting reply to the state government.
Among those present on the occasion included Paritosh Singh, Dukhni Mai Sardar, Sushil Tiwary, Pawan Tiwary, Gulshan Sardar, Sanjeev Ranjan and Sourav Chatterjee.
