Youth commits suicide on rail tracks near Jamshedpur

Seraikela, Oct 28: In yet another case of suicide a youth Mahesh Pradhan (25) of Murup village under Seraikela police station, committed suicide by coming under a train. The incident took place last Wednesday night around 8:30 pm. The body of the deceased youth was found in the up line railway track near Guradih ground between Mahalimurup and Sini railway station. On the information of the incident, the Railway Police reached the spot, identified the body of the deceased youth with the help of local Guradih village’s village head-cum-MP representative Ashwini Kumar Singhdev and villagers, took the dead body in its possession and brought it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives after the post-mortem of the dead body. It was said that the youth used to work in New Tech Company located in Adityapur. On Wednesday, he left home for duty on his motorcycle for night shift duty. He was supposed to join night duty at 10 pm, but he did not reach duty. Around 6:00 am, the local villagers found his bike parked in an unclaimed condition near the Guradih ground. A short distance away, his dead body was found lying on the up line of the railway.
