Jamshedpur, Dec 26: The body of a youth, identified as a resident of Sidhgora was found floating in the Dimna Lake, in the outskirts of Jamshedpur on Friday morning.
Bodam thana official along with Patamda police officials reached the spot and took help of a local diver to rescue the youth who was later identified as Ravikant Yadav, a resident of Sidhgora in Jamshedpur, who has been missing from his house since December 23, as a missing case had been registered at the Sidhgora thana.
Police have also recovered a suicide note from the pocket of the deceased youth’s pant where the youth has claimed that he was unsuccessful in his life and was ending his life. He has sought forgiveness from his mother for taking his life and written that nobody should be held responsible for his death.
According to relatives of the deceased youth, he had gone out of his home in Baridih Basti on December 23 after lunch and never returned.
The body has been sent to MGM Medical College for post mortem and a case of unnatural death has been lodged at Bodam thana.
