Jamshedpur, June 11: A yoga class was ceremoniously inaugurated in the auditorium of Sangeet Samaj, Telco Colony, as the Chief Guest, Prartho Mukhopadhyay from Tata Motors Hospital, and others lit the lamp to mark the occasion. The event witnessed the presence of notable personalities including Surendra Sharma, Principal of Sangeet Samaj, Harendra Kumar, Senior Officer of Tata Motors, Yoga teacher Ajay Verma, 90-year-old Yoga teacher Indrapal Verma, Deepak Kumar, Jayant Chowdhary, and more. The attendees were encouraged to join the yoga class, especially those interested in experiencing the benefits of yoga.
To commence the program, the guests were welcomed by presenting them with Tulsi plants. Subsequently, Yoga teacher Ajay Verma addressed the attendees, shedding light on the significance of yoga and how it contributes to holistic well-being. He demonstrated various techniques, showcasing how the body can be naturally cleansed through yoga. With the help of continuous water flow from one nostril to the other, he exemplified the cleansing process. Moreover, he demonstrated a method involving the insertion of a rope through one nostril and pulling it out from the mouth to emphasize the cleansing effect. Verma emphasized that with regular practice under the guidance of a yoga teacher, anyone can achieve these techniques. He highlighted the numerous benefits associated with regular yoga practice and guided participants through various asanas (postures).
In his address, Chief Guest Prartho Mukhopadhyay emphasized the importance of internal cleansing of the body through yoga and natural methods. He expressed concern over the increasing number of individuals seeking medical attention due to various ailments. Mukhopadhyay highlighted the rising prevalence of kidney, heart, and diabetes-related issues among the younger generation, emphasizing the need for awareness, mindful food choices, and the inclusion of regular yoga practice in everyday life. He extended his best wishes to Yoga teacher Ajay Verma, appreciating his efforts in promoting yoga. The program concluded with the introduction of Payal and Aaradhya, who demonstrated various yoga asanas. The 90-year-old yoga teacher, Inderpal Verma, also received applause for showcasing different yoga postures during the event.
