Best business ventures also to be rewarded
Jamshedpur : XLRI- Xavier School of Management, the premier private B School in India, is to host ‘National Women Leadership Summit 2013’ on November 15 at XLRI Campus, Jamshedpur.
The Entrepreneurship Cell at XLRI as partnered with Google to organize this unique Summit. The event will witness industry leaders and eminent entrepreneurs from all parts of the country to encourage young women to take up entrepreneurship.
“The budding entrepreneurs at our institute can greatly benefit from the experiences shared by the leaders and gain motivation and valuable insights on how to convert their dreams into reality”, commented Prof. Prabal K. Sen, Chairperson, Entrepreneurship Development Centre.
The Entrepreneurship Cell at XLRI is also hosting a National Level Entrepreneur Hunt – “Genesis” on November 15 and 16, 2013 to search for the best business ventures as well as ideas coming from the brightest minds in the country. The competition will give wings to entrepreneurs’ thoughts, by letting them discuss their start-ups and ideas in front of investors and start-up experts.
The winning teams have the golden opportunity to receive seed funding to finally turn their business ideas into reality. All the finalist teams have already been mentored by the Mentor Board of Entrepreneurship Cell which comprises CXOs, successful entrepreneurs and experts in various business domains.
Prof. Sen added “This would give a great exposure to the participants not only to fine tune and refine their business ideas but also to give them a chance to interact with experts in the business and give them insights into practical problems in the future as well.
XLRI E-Cell is also organizing Start-Up Workshops by prominent XLRI faculty members to coach budding entrepreneurs. These workshops are open to all and will be conducted at the XLRI campus.”
