Jamshedpur : Tata Steel and the Society for Promotion of Professional Excellence (SPPE) jointly organized the Inter-school Environment Quiz Mindblaster-2013 at the Michael John Auditorium.
Loyola School emerged winners of the mind boggling quiz followed by Rajendra Vidyalaya and DAV Public School, Bistupur. The winners received a rolling trophy, a cash prize of Rs 8,000.
The first runners up received a cash prize of Rs 6000 while the second runnersup romped home Rs 4000 . The other finalist teams were given away Rs 1000 each.
About 135 teams from 27 schools participated in the quiz . Lloyd Saldanha was the quiz master while Srimanti Sen, social worker was the chief guest on the occasion.
More than 1000 students from 27 schools witnessed the quiz as contestants and as the audience. After the shortlisting of the preliminary round six teams � Loyola School, Little Flower School, Rajendra Vidyalaya, Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, DAV Public School, Bistupur and Valley View School
reached the finals.
