Gamharia, Mar 6: A seminar was organized by the Department of Commerce at XITE College Gamharia on Thursday, where students had the opportunity to present their innovative business ideas and receive valuable feedback. The event, conducted under the guidance of Assistant Professor Anjali Jha, was attended by Vice Principal Dr. Father Mukti Clarence SJ and Head of the Commerce Department Sushmita Chaudhary Sen.
During the seminar, students showcased a wide range of entrepreneurial proposals, including eco-friendly and sustainable solutions like smart waste management, unique concepts such as travel restaurants and a nutrient scanning app aimed at helping users make healthy food choices. A notable proposal was a sustainable fish farming initiative that focused on market screening, idea generation, test marketing and budgeting.
Dr. Father Mukti Clarence SJ, in his address, praised the students for their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging them to continue developing their ideas and pursue their aspirations. “I am truly impressed by the level of innovation on display today. I urge all of you to continue exploring your entrepreneurial journey,” he remarked.
