Jamshedpur, Mar 7: Tata Motors Workers Union organized a farewell-cum-felicitation ceremony on Friday to honour employees who retired in February. The event, held at the union premises, saw 13 retired employees being felicitated with shawls and mementos. During the program, the retirees shared their experiences, memories and suggestions. The ceremony also welcomed their life partners, allowing them to connect with the union.
Executive President Anil Sharma, expressing gratitude, said, “Your suggestions and guidance are our strength. As you begin your second innings, we hope our bond remains strong even after retirement.” Joint General Secretary HS Saini assured the retirees of the union’s continued support. “Whenever you need assistance related to the Labour Bureau or medical facilities, the union will always stand by you. We also urge you to utilize your retirement funds wisely,” he emphasized.
The event was conducted by Vice President Prakash Vishwakarma, while Anil Sharma delivered the vote of thanks. Several union office bearers, committee members and members of the RK Singh Fans Club attended the ceremony. The retired employees honoured included Chandreshwar Prasad, Satyendra Kumar Sharma and Pradhut Kumar Maiti from the Vehicle Factory; Rajnikant Das and Indrajit Kumar Sinha from PPC; Gunjan Nandan Sahay from the Frame Factory; Ganesh Sah, Arun Kumar Dubey and Vasudev Singh from the Foundry; Prahlad Chandra Bhagat and Sanjay Kumar from the Cab and Call Factory; Devnath Sharma from Security; and Pradeep Kumar Bhowmik from the Engine Division.
