XAT 2026 conducted smoothly across India, Central Command Centre operates from Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan 5: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 was conducted successfully across the country on January 4, 2026, without any technical or operational issues. The examination was held from 2 pm to 5 pm in a single shift across 121 cities and 288 test centres, ensuring a smooth and fair experience for all candidates.

The test was conducted simultaneously nationwide using a common question paper, maintaining uniformity and upholding the principles of transparency, fairness and integrity in the examination process. Officials said the arrangements at all centres were satisfactory and candidates were able to complete the test without disruption.

To ensure effective coordination and real-time monitoring, a centralized Command Centre was set up at XLRI, Jamshedpur. The Command Centre closely monitored the conduct of the examination across all centres and played a crucial role in its seamless execution.

This year, XAT 2026 witnessed around 1.35 lakh registrations, reflecting the growing trust of management aspirants in the examination. XAT continues to attract candidates from diverse academic and professional backgrounds and remains one of the most preferred entrance tests for admission to leading management institutions in the country.
