Jamshedpur: A two-day workshop on ‘Innovative Welding and Metal Cutting Technology’ was organized at Recreation Club in TGS Colony on Tuesday. It was held under the aegis of Tata Steel Growth Shop (TGS) in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Welding, Jamshedpur branch. It was jointly inaugurated by the GM of TGS Sharad Kumar Sharma, Tata Seel Shared Services Vice President Prabal Ghosh, Kalyan Prasad, VP of SSTSLBK and TGS Chief Manufacturing Arun Kumar Jhane. Ghosh said the company was making efforts to find new technology and carve out a niche in the field of quality. He said Tata Steel was a leading company due to quality. Other speakers also spoke on a variety of topics related to welding technology.
