Jamshedpur, July 7: A workshop aimed at capacity building for unorganized workers was organized by Action Aid Association on Sunday at Parsudih Gauri Bhawan. The event saw a large turnout of workers and representatives from various organizations.
Prominent speakers at the workshop included Rajiv Kumar, member of the Consumer Court West Singhbhum, advocate Shamshad Khan, retired CISF sub-inspector Balram Patro and retired Labor Superintendent Rakesh Kumar. They provided valuable information on government schemes available for workers in the unorganized sector and explained how to access these benefits. They also offered solutions for common problems faced by these workers.
Saurav Kumar, the Regional Manager of Action Aid Association, highlighted the workshop’s objective that was to empower unorganized sector workers to resolve their issues and maximize the benefits from government schemes.
Among those present included Pramakant Karua, Lakhi Das, Dobo Chakia, Ashish Prajapati, Sadanand Mahato, Santosh Behera, Sourav Kumar, Viren Nayak, Anirudh Sarkar, Arun Kumar, Tapan Kumar Gorai, Sarita Soren, Lalita Purana, Manoj Tiwari, and Rajkumar Chauhan.
