Working on mission to create JN Tata’s dream city: Banna Gupta

Jamshedpur, March 3: Jharkhand health minister Banna Gupta today said he was working on a mission to create the city of JN Tata’s dreams. He said work was underway on a war footing to provide better basic civic amenities to the people of the city.

Gupta paid floral tributes to JN Tata on his 183drd birth anniversary at Postal Park, Bistupur. He said JN Tata was a great visionary who wanted Jamshedpur to become a world class city with all basic amenities and who always stressed on the welfare of the people of his country.

Gupta said he had sought support from Tata Steel to revamp MGM Hospital. “The company management has given its approval to development the government hospital. The people of the city would soon see the change,” he said.

The minister said efforts were on to conserve the Swarnarekha river and provide new facilities to people like walking trek and open gym at Dimna Road, Mango, with the help of Tata Steel.

“Civic amenities would be provided to the people of non-company areas including Mango with the support of Tata Steel,” the minister said.
