Jamshedpur, September 16: Tayo Rolls workers boycotted the company’s managing director Shankar Marar’s meeting at canteen hall of the company.
MD had scheduled a meeting with the workers regarding VSS form and other issues. Exasperated with the presence of several members of the Tayo Workers Union, company workers left the canteen hall.
Several of the workers said that due to the attitude of Tayo Workers Union, workers have been forced at this level and the union members are trying their best to break the conflict of the workers.
The union should have held talks with the MD on opening of the company but they have let the workers down.
The matter is still pending in the labour court and workers have enough power to deal with the management on their own and doesn’t need the interference of the union anymore, added a worker.
