Potka: Several women from Potka staged dharna before Potka police station on Sunday demanding arresting of culprits in Babli Mandal dowry killing case.
They alleged that the killers of Babli Mandal had not been arrested till date. The accused persons are at large for the last one month, but no action has been taken by the police to nab them as yet, said the protestors.
The accused persons in this case have been identified as Pravin Mandal, Reeta Mandal and Chanchal Mandal, protestors said.
A memorandum was handed over by the women to the officer in-charge of Potka police station Arvind Yadav.
The protesting women said they would stage a sit-in at the office of the deputy commissioner in case police failed to arrest the accused persons in a week.
