Jamshedpur, Feb 23: An unidentified woman allegedly stole jewelry from MP Jewelers in Sonari police station area on Saturday. She was accompanied by a man who escaped with her soon after committing the crime, police said.
Police said the incident took place when the woman went to a shop at Kagalnagar Main Road and expressed her desire to see jewelry items. When the shop owner Uday Prasad turned to look for other jewelry items, the woman picked up the jewelry kept on the counter and decamped in no time. The shop owner soon informed the police and registered an FIR against the accused duo. Police officials saw the CCTV footage at the shop and found the complaint to be true. They said efforts were on to nab the culprits.
