Jamshedpur, Feb. 6: Acting on a tip off, police arrested active women Maoist Gurbari Munda who has been involved in several crimes, from near Subarnarekha Bhakhar bridge under Gurabanda police station area in East Singhbhum district on Monday morning.
Four cases have been arrested against Gurbari Munda in Ghorabandha police station, said East Singhbhum rural SP Shailendra Burnwal on Monday. Addressing a press meet, SP Burnwal informed that police had success at the ongoing campaign launched by the police against the Maoists.
Gurbari Munda is daughter of Kutu Munda resident of Benasuli of Shyamsunder Police Station area. The police team led by Additional Superintendent of Police (Operations), Jamshedpur Pranav Anand Jha and Ghatsila Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sanjeev Besra.
According to rural SP Shailendra Burnwal, there was only one active women Maoist in Ghorabandha police station area which has been arrested by the police.
