Talent will be promoted in every field: Raghubar Das

Ranchi: Addressing people on the occasion of Sahid Tikait Umraon Singh Seikh Bhikari Sadvawana Cup match after laying the foundation stone for High School Stadium at Ormanjhi, Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said that Jharkhand abounds in talent which could place the state on the world map.

�The government is promoting sports and Kamal clubs are being formed throughout the state to promote football. The government will provide football kits. The competition will be conducted at block, district and state level. Women football teams will also be prepared and hockey coaches will be hired from outside if required. Sportspersons will be given 2 per cent reservation in government services,� said the CM.

The CM said that girls are excelling in every field including studies and sports. They are doing well in all fields. The government is strict on the brokers and skilling and developing the state to stop migration to other states. Animal husbandry and gardening are the lifelines of villages, he said.

Das appealed to people to keep away from those leaders who spread rumours and engage in vote-bank politics. As the present government is working sincerely, they create obstacles. But the government is committed to remove poverty.
During the function, land donors were felicitated and Birhor children were given school kit.

Rural Development Minister Nilkanth Singh Munda, MP Ram Tahal Choudhary, MLA Navin Jaiswal and Ram Kumar Pahan and other people were present on the occasion.
