Jamshedpur, June 27: A 40-year-old woman Basanti Devi, a resident of Chakulia, was injured after falling from a moving train on platform number two of Tatanagar station at 3 pm on Monday.
RPF personnel patrolling the station during the incident, took Basanti Devi to Sadar Hospital where she was treated.
Basanti’s left hand is broken. Giving information, RPF post in-charge SK Tiwari told that Basanti is a resident of Chakulia. She was preparing to go to Chakulia by train but boarded the wrong train. As soon as she got the information, she started trying to get off the train. Just then the train started. She fell down while getting off the moving train.
