BJM apprise SSP about rising crime in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 27: A delegation of Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha (BJM) met the SSP and submitted a memorandum on Tuesday to curb the increasing crime in Jamshedpur.

Through the memorandum, the delegation urged the SSP to stop the deteriorating law and order, theft, extortion and drug trade in the city.

BJM district president Subodh Srivastava, who was present on the occasion, said that in the last few months, incidents of theft and snatching are happening daily in one or the other police station area of Jamshedpur.

Subodh Srivastava, alleged that there are no patrolling at night due to which the graph of crime is increasing.

He said that the bigger gang than drug addicts is of drug traders. Due to the supply of brown sugar and other deadly drugs in the streets, crime is becoming uncontrollable. It is necessary to clamp down on the drug dealers.
