Jamshedpur: A woman, identified as Moni, gave birth to a male child in an auto-rickshaw on the premises of MGM Hospital on Saturday.
She waited outside the hospital but was not noticed by anyone. In the absence of any help, she gave birth to the child in the vehicle itself.
Later, hospital authorities admitted the woman and her child on being told about the birth by others.
