Jamshedpur, May 10: Gudabanda police arrested a woman for running a bar in her house without licence in Bhakar village on Tuesday.
The accused, identified as Poosi Nayak, was arrested on the basis of a tip-off. Cops seized 75 beer bottles, 23 beer cans and 89 bottle of other liquor from her house.
A case was registered against Poosi on the information of magistrate Sudhir Kumar Hansda.
Cops said they had got information about the accused reportedly selling and serving liquor in her house without permission.
