Three injured in two separate mishaps in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 10: Three persons were injured in two separate road accidents in East Singhhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan.

In the first incident, a speeding car hit a motorcycle in Bistupur on Tuesday, causing injury to two persons, identified as Rajesh Haripal and his companion Jeetu Munda. The car driver fled the scene after the incident. The injured were taken to MGM Hospital where Jeetu’s condition was reportedly serious, police said.

The mishap occurred at B Road. Police have registered a case against the errant car driver. Haripal said he was going to his Northern Town house with his friend when the car knocked his bike down from front.

In the other incident, one Bahadur Singh was injured after his motorcycle rammed into a stray cattle on the Chandil-Purulia highway. The victim was returning home from his in-laws’ house. He was taken to a local hospital and later referred to MGM Hospital, sources said.
