Jamshedpur: On the fifth day of Shri Bhagwath Katha, narrator from Vrindavan, Acharya Hariji Maharaj explained the chapters of Giriraj and Bal Shri Krishna Lilas that held the huge audience of devotees captivated. While on the topic of the mischievous child Shri Krishna stealing butter from clay pots, the Acharya explained, �Stealing freshly made butter does seem like a common, childhood prank but the Lord did it as a service to His devotees and when he drank milk directly from the cows� teats, it was to absolve the animals of their sins that were in them through generations.

Acharya Hariji Maharaj further stated, �Without struggle man cannot attain success. Right from His birth, Lord Krishna had to struggle. He never remained static. The Lord was born in Mathura, moved to Gokuldham and then reached Vrindavan.� At this point the narrator sang a bhajan on Vridavan and Shri Krishna�s Lila there. It had a very soothing effect on the devotees present on the fifth day of Shri Bhagwath Katha.
The narrator spoke paeans on the life of Lord Shri Ram. He said, �If one adopts the character of Lord Ram, then the person would make his life meaningful and satisfying. The person will realize the purpose of life.�
The Shri Bhagwath Katha is being held at the Pritam Memorial Maidan near DAV School on Slag Road in Patel Nagar Bhuinyadih. The Katha is being organized by Shri Hari Govind Seva Samiti.
The fifth day of the Srimad Bhagwath Katha today was hosted by Govind Saroj, Dr SK Tiwary, Hansa Saroj, Shriram Saroj, Hari Om Saroj, Nand Singh, Dilip Singh, Shanti Tiwary and Savita Sinha. The Samiti today honoured Ravindra Prasad, Mahesh Kumar, Manoj Gupta, Pratima Seth, Shanti Tiwary and Savita Sinha.
