With 4 corona positives, Seraikela-Kharawan tally jumps to 140

Seraikela, July 22: Seraikela-Kharawan district on Tuesday reported four coronavirus positives taking the tally to 140. One was reported positive late on Monday night while 3 new came up on Tuesday.
One person from Rajnagar, one from Gamharia block and two from Seraikela tested positive for COVID-19. The active cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district stands at 62 while 78 people have recovered and have been discharged from the hospital. Three women and 1 man in the age group of 25 to 48 years are among the new positives in the district. The sample of one of the positive was collected on July 20 while the sample of other three were taken on July 21. Of the 4 new positives 3 have been admitted to TMH and 1 from Seraikela Sadar Hospital. On the other hand three patients who recovered from the virus were discharged. Seraikela Civil Surgeon Himandhu Bhusan Barwar said, “Two patients from TMH and 1 from Sadar Hospital in Seraikela were discharged in presence of doctors and senior officials of the district.”
All the discharged were handed over ration, mask and sanitizer and were advised seven day home quarantine.
