Jamshedpur, May 14: A 38 year-old woman, identified as Malti Singh, resident of Kalajhor village under MGM PS, was brutally killed with sharp weapons by unidentified persons on Saturday. Her body was found outside her house this morning, police said.
Cops said the woman’s body was lying outside her house and was first found by her daughter Purva Singh. The head and trunk were almost severed and both hands bore injury marks, they said.
Police sent the body of the deceased to MGM Hospital.
Police said they were probing the case from all angles. They have not ruled out extra marital relationship as the cause of the gruesome murder.
Malti’s husband, Ganesh Singh, died five years ago.
