Non-completion of module to affect performance rating of officers

Jamshedpur, May 14: In its bid to improve safety culture and achieve zero harm safety standards, Tata Steel has launched a two-month e-learning module on safety. The module would help all company officials to be aware of the company’s safety standards and implement the same in the company. The module has been made effective for all locations, sources said.
Sources further informed that the company has made it clear that non-completion of the module would affect the performance rating of officials.
Meanwhile, sources said the company officials may apply for internal recruitment process from 1st June onwards. The transfer and promotion of officials would take place only when they have completed the safety module. The module is to be completed compulsorily by all officials and even the new officers would come in its purview.
Sources said a circular issued by the VP HRM has asked all officers to complete the module.
