Chaibasa, October 21: State mines commissioner Abu Bakr Siddique on Friday took stock of the mining office in Chaibasa where the district mining officer (DMO) Manoj Kumar briefed him about the issues in mining department�s website.
The DMO informed the commissioner about the low internet speed which delays in taking out mining challans online. He also explained about the obstruction caused at other official work.
DMO also pointed out the poor strength of mining staff in the office.
Present on the occasion were Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shantanu Kumar Agrahari, assistant mining officer Sachidanand Singh, mining inspector Rajaram Prasad and the representative of Usha Martin Mines.
