Baharagora: With only a few days left for the panchayat elections in West Bengal, district BJP leaders are putting in all-out effort to shore up public support in favour of party candidates. The party leaders have intensified campaigning in the bordering villages that have a sizeable number of voters. Joint campaigns are being carried out by the party leaders from West Bengal and Jharkhand.
An election campaign was held in over half a dozen villages on Monday. Bengali film actor Jai Banerjee, district BJP president of Jhargram Sukhmoy Satpathi, district BJP member (rural) of East Singhbhum Samir Mahanty and district secretary Abani Ghosh were present on the occasion.
