Water woes on train, matter reaches Delhi

Jamshedpur, June 26: The matter of absence of water in the train coach of railway officer at Tatanagar Station has reached Delhi.

The Tatanagar station and Chakradharpur duty officers are worried. The incident is reported to have taken place in Anandvihar-Bhubaneshwar Sampark Kranti Express on Saturday between 4.50 am and 5.05 pm at platform No. 1.

The railway board officer informed that the train left the station without water, to officers of railway division and zone.

The workers didnt have the information about water no available in the coach otherwise they would have filled the water.

The railway board officer’s coach in which he was travelling was in down train and at the back.

It may be noted that with the expansion of platform the pipe facility is the same as old and the problem arises when providing water to long route trains.

With the arrangement of railway the passengers along with board officers are facing issues.

The shed expansion work on platform no. 1 has also not started yet and during rain the passengers will have to catch the train by soaking in the rain.
