Jamshedpur, February 15: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee convened a meeting with the residents of Vijaya Garden Residents Welfare Association, Baridih, on Tuesday as a part of efforts to seek citizens’ cooperation in improving waste management practices. The main agenda of the meeting was to create awareness among the residents on segregation of waste at source, making compost at home and eco bricks. The JNAC representatives informed the residents about ways of segregating various types of waste materials and how to make compost at home.
Many residents of Vijaya Garden were present at the meeting. They included Ravi Bharati, Anay Raj and Sourabh Kumar.
