W. Singhbhum DC takes stock of panchyat poll preparations

Chaibasa, Oct. 26: West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Abu Backker Sidhique conducted a review meeting with the officers of two subdivisions � Chakradharpur and Jagnnathpur, in connection with the on-going three-tier panchayet election at DC office here on Monday.

Sidhique sought reports from each booth and cluster center in these two subdivisions, as most of the area is troubled by the Maoist menace.

He discussed about the sensitive and hyper sensitive booths and asked the officials to make elaborate security arrangements and provide these canters with electricity, water and other facilities.

SP (Chaibasa) Dr Micheal Raj, DDC Anil Kr Roy, DEO Rajni Kant Verma ,COs, BDOs and officers-in-charge of various police stations of two subdivisions , SDO Jaggnathpur, and SDO Chakradharpur were present at the meeting.
