Chaibasa, Jan. 18: West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Abu Backer Sidhique has been selected by election commission for the National Award for Best Election Practices 2015 in the Sweep Category.
The prestigious award will be conferred on him on at New Delhi on January 25.
Speaking about the award, Sidhique said that the successful conduction of the recently held three-tier panchayat election was not his singular achievement.
�Rather it is a collective efforts of teachers, district level officers, corporate houses, chamber of commerce and the media that resulted in achieving the award. I wish all for their help to achieve the prestigious award.�
