Jamshedpur: Rudrabhishek for Lord Ayyappa was performed at VVSS Temple in Kharangajhar, Telco on Saturday evening.
Rudrabhishek is the famous puja and worship performed to Shivling by giving a holy bath. This is one of the most powerful forms of worships in Hinduism and is believed to bless the devotees with prosperity and peace and remove the sins of many births.
Later, Lord Ayyappa was worshipped and mahaarti along with bhajan was performed. Prasad (Mahabhog) was also distributed among the devotees. Religious programme has also been scheduled to be held on December 16.
